TRI-PEN FROST MAJOR MIDGET HOCKEY- 2010 EVALUATION CAMP

Hockey Canada, in partnership with Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador has announced a special offer for tickets to this summer’s National Junior Team development camp, the 2010 4 Nations Cup, featuring the top women’s hockey teams in the world, and the 2011 TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship, all coming to St. John’s, N.L. during the 2010-11 season.
This special ticket package will only be available prior to the National Junior Team development camp and can be purchased at the Mile One Centre box office, by calling 709-576-7657 or 1-800-361-4595, or by going to www.admission.com. Tickets are currently only available through this special offer, with announcements for specific events to be made at later dates.

Congratulations to the Scotiabank Atom "B" Team on winning Silver at the Provincials. The Atoms went undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament. In the finals they lost 2-1 to North East Avalon.

Congratulations to the McDonalds' Marystown Mariner Midgets on winning Silver at the Provincials the past weekend in Labrador.

Congratulations to the Sobeys' Mariners Pee Wee Team on winning Bronze at the Provincials this weekend in Marystown.

Congratulations to Jenny Connolly, Courtney Foote, Billie Stapleton and Caileigh Fewer who are members of the Female Bantam AAA Tri-Pen Team who won the Atlantic Cup this past weekend. The Newfoundland team defeated the host Prince Edward Island team 6-5. A special congratulation to Billie Stapleton on winning the Top Goalie Award at this tournament and Jenny Connolly on the True Grit Award for her team.

Congratulations to the Senior Girls team on winning Gold at the Provincial C tournament, hosted in Bonavista. The team went 5-0 in the round robin play and defeated Glovertown in the championship game by a score of 5 - 1. |Pictures|

Congratulations to the Scotiabank Under 15 Girls' Team on winning Silver at the Provincial B tournament, hosted in Marystown. The Mariner Girls lost in overtime 2-1 to Springdale Bravettes.
